Eusporangiate and Leptosporangiate Sporangia:
1. The dominant plant body in ferns is sporophyte. It is classified into root , stem and leaves.
2. The leaves are large (megaphyllous) variously shaped and look like the branches. They are called as fronds. The stem may be an underground rhizome or a truck as in tree ferns while the roots are adventitious.
3. Ferns bear special spore bearing leaves called the sporophylls. The spores are produced in sporangia.
