parenchyma is made up of 2 words para and enchyma..

para mean soft and enchyma mean tissue.

parenchyma have intercellular space and cell wall is made up of cellulose and hemi cellulose.....

these are living cell

parenchyma in water have air so they also called aerenchyma...

parenchyma which gave chlorophyll it had chlorenchyma...
