George got up early and failed to sleep. He narrated a past experince when the samr thing happened. He was to go to city by nine. He was staying at Gipping. As he had forgotten to wind up this watch,the watch stopped at a quater-past eight. when he got up and looked at the watch,he was horrified. He thought that he was late. Actually it was 3 o' clock in the morning. he rushed out. there was still darkness. all the shops were closed. The policemen looked at the George with suspicion. They asked him where he lived. They told him to go back home and sleep. Two constables went with them to Mrs.Gippings's home to see if he had told truth or not .George came home,unlocked the door and went in. The policemen stood outside and remained standing outside the house for some time. Since that day George had made it a point not to get early.

one day George woke up early in the morning. he saw the watch and he was shocked to see the time.it was 8:30 at his clock.he got ready and went to the market.he was surprised to see all the shops closed.then the police officer noticed him . the officer asked him the reason for coming to market so early.he also suggested him to go home and sleep. he was confused.he looked to the watch.his watch has started working. so it was 9:30 at the clock.he went home back,tried to sleep but could not.later he came toq know that his watch stopped working .it was 4:00 am when he woke up he got very surprised and felt upset
