Answer:

A.Food enters to digestive system through the mouth. Food is broken down into smaller pieces by chewing. The teeth cut and crush the food, while it's mixed with saliva. This process helps to make it soft and easier to swallow.

B.Once filled with food, the stomach grinds and churns the food to break it down into small particles. It then pushes the small particles of food into the first part of small intestine, called duodenum.

C.The small intestine absorbs most digested food molecules,as well as water and minerals, and passes them on to other parts of the body for storage or further chemical change.

D.Waste products from the digestive process include undigested parts of food, fluid and other cells from the lining of your gastrointestinal tract. The large intestine absorbs water and changes the waste from liquid into stool.

Answer:

The muscles of the small intestine mix food with digestive juices from the pancreas, liver, and intestine, and push the mixture forward for further digestion. The walls of the small intestine absorb water and the digested nutrients into your bloodstream.
