Describe what happens to the iron object and the copper rod.​

Explanation:

The Cu2+ ions move towards the cathode and get deposited on the Iron object forming a thin layer of Copper on it. Copper atoms from the anode break down and come into the electrolyte so that they can be deposited on the Iron object. Slowly the anode gets damaged and deformed.
