Hey friend.....Here I am presenting your answer......
An order of magnitude is an exponential change of plus-or-minus 1 in the value of a quantity or unit. The term is generally used in conjunction with power-of-10 scientific notation. As values get smaller, a decrease of one order of magnitude is the same as multiplying a quantity by 0.1.
Hope it will be helpful to you friend......

Answer:
An order of magnitude is an approximate measure of the number of digits that a number has in the commonly-used base-ten number system. It is equal to the whole number floor of logarithm (base 10). For example, the order of magnitude of 1500 is 3, because 1500 = 1.5 × 103.
