because it can transport people from one place to another . however in any other transportation you can only transport in finite . while in airways you can transport anywhere.
for example, bus cannot transport you over water or seas .
however we cannot use ships for transportation because it has very high cost and take more time for transporting. but in case of air ways we can transport anywhere with minimum cost and low price .
so we can say that we can use air transportation inspite of other.
