Power sharing is desirable because in the modern age of democracy, all power resides in the people who run the administration through the representatives elected by them. Under this system of government, due respect is given to the views of all the sections of the society while framing policies. Thus, it becomes necessary that power should be distributed among as many citizens as possible.
