• Central nervous system contains two essential organs - brain and spinal cord.
• Brain can be divided into forebrain, midbrain & hindbrain.
• Peripheral nervous system is further divided into autonomic nervous system and somatic nervous system.
• Autonomic nervous system is either sympathetic or parasympathetic.
• Somatic nervous system includes sensory and motor system.
