My trip to Goa happened recently. I am a 21 year old girl and first of all, getting permission from parents to send me to Goa with friends was a huge task. But ultimately ,I and my friends got permission and finally visited Goa with my girls gang. We planned a 3-day trip to Goa.
1. The first thing I loved about Goa was the relaxed and laidback vibe that the place gave. You have the freedom to be yourself and forget all your tensions. For girls, it is heaven since they get to wear whatever they want without people judging you by the length of your clothes. People in Goa will never judge you since they are used to that kind of life.
2. The beaches in Goa are very beautiful and you will never feel like leaving the beach. The best beaches are Sequerim Beach and Miramar beach which are away from hustle bustle of Baga and Calangute. The sunset at miramar beach is mesmerizing. The churches are beautiful and very peaceful.
3. Pub Culture and non veg food- the people who love night life and non veg food are the people who enjoy here the most. Baga beach is the place to enjoy nightlife. There are several pubs having free entry for girls and are safe too.
I am lucky I got to visit Goa at a young age with my best friends. Go with your best friends and it will be the bestest trip of your life.

In my opinion, Goa tourism is altogether a different product in winters/summers and monsoon. Although you cannot enjoy water sports during monsoon yet when it rains, the lush greenery glitters and its blissful to travel around Goa during this time.
I went during monsoon only, it was exquisite.
Thats Baga beach at the back.
You get to see a different culture in Goa which is as vivid and vibrant!
That is Church of St Francis Xavier in Old Goa and notably, it contains the relics of Saint Francis Xavier.
Not to mention the amazing beaches:
Also there are many flamboyant shacks on these beaches.
Goa is a synonym for fun and amusement:
Am not much of a party-animal, which is why you won't get to see the night-life of Goa (that is as happening and groovy as you might have heard), in my pictures.
Also, there are casinos and cruises and you must experience them , they're real fun!
I missed dudhsagar and watersports so, obviously, am going to visit there again sometime! One must visit goa in moonsoon season for greenery, cool weather. Sometimes it is raining and again suddenly stops and rain. We had fun time. North goa has many places to visit compare to south goa. But still both places offers fun.
There are so many places to visit in Goa. So,plan to surprise yourself with a true Goan experience this time around.
Most of the beaches we have visited. More than temples and churches.
The only thing keep in mind is if someone want to come goa for waterrides at beaches then a big NO to them in moonsoon season. Since there is no water ride activities happen at beaches in rainy season. It is strictly restricted by tourism. Forts and jungle trips on your own risk.
Transportation mode is good, bus and autos are budget transport mode, taxis are bit expensive.
Food is awesome both veg and sea food.
Shopping is not much and again need to mention, open markets are closed during moonsoon season which is july-September end.
Everywhere bargaining is important whether it is hotel accomodation or shopping.
Overall it is relaxed fun trip. Great scenic with greenary and river trips are awesome to visit goa
