Answer:

                    My Favorite Festival

Festivals bring happiness, cheer, hope, optimism, celebrations, lights, joy, cooperation and many more pleasant things in our life. During Diwali, Christmas, Holi, Eid, Gurupurb, Passover, or any other festival the world appears to be a heaven. It appears as if the entire world is attending a wedding celebration. Children, adults, teenagers, elders, and middle-aged people all of them love festivals.

My favorite festival is Diwali. Diwali is a wonderful festival of lights, fun, and cheer. It is symbolic of victory of good over evil. I love Diwali because it fills my life with its lights and cheer. I celebrate it with zeal and excitement. I feel relaxed and carefree during the Diwali holidays. I love going to the market to buy many things for the celebrations. I love buying sweets, chocolates, some electronic gadget or furniture for the house.

I just love decorating the house; I also lend a helping hand to my parents in cleaning the house. I accompany my parents to relatives and friends to give them festival gifts and greetings. The Diwali evening is the most exciting time; after decorating and traditional worship, we go on roof tops to let off crackers. The entire atmosphere is filled with sparks and deafening booms. I don’t like the toxic fumes emitted by crackers.
