Answer:

My favorite character in my book so far is Buck inThe Call Of The Wild by Jack London. Buck is a dog that shows courage. Even though he has been kidnapped, beaten, and forced to learn how to be a slead dog he tries to do what he needs to do in hopes that he will return home soon. His previous owner was The Judge. Buck was not a dog that liked to be pampered, he was a dog that liked to get his food outside and never slept inside.

The day that Buck got kidnapped started of as an ordinary day. He went for a stroll in the woods when a rope got put around his neck. He exepected the rope for one minute until he noticed what was going on. As soon as that happens he began to fight back. The rope was twisted and he fell to the ground in pain. Buck tried to bite the kidnappers multiple times but each attempt ended with the twist of a rope and more pain. This is why Buck is my favorite character. He knew when to fight back and when to let whatever was going to happen, happen.

Answer:

The book that I recently read is R.K.Narayan's 'Malgudi Days.' It is a collection of short stories.

My favorite character is the father Venkat Rao from the story 'Forty-Five A Month.'

He was worried for his daughter Shanta; As he works all days of the week, he didn't have time to take her out.

Venkat Rao is a loving and caring father who works hard for his family for forty rupees a month.

One day, he wanted to take his daughter to the Cinema. So he decided to take permission from his boss.

If his boss refuses, he decided to resign from his job. But fortunately or unfortunately his salary was raised to forty-five a month on that day.

He felt happy for his hike but felt sad that he could not take his daughter out hereafter, as he needs to work a lot.

The story conveys the longingness of a daughter and a hardworking father who wants his family to be happy.
