Imaginary worlds are sometimes known as paracosms. These are probably most common around nine years of age and typically fade in the teenage years. Creativity and imagination are also both apparent when an individual has an imaginary friend. Originality is more difficult to separate from creativity.

Throughout the years I have found myself creating imaginary places across the world that have had different effects on me. Some have put me in dark places while others have lifted my feelings. I’ve also started to notice the power of dreams because they are YOUR thoughts, and when you are sleeping your thinking at a much more intense and focused level because you are closed from the real world with no distractions. This essay will discuss one of those places and how it changed the way I see this world.
