Memorable Vacation

A memorable vacation is one that you can never forget. Sometimes it is even hard not to stop thinking about it. Many of the places I have been include China, Japan, Singapore, Australia. All these places are great but each has a un - forgettable memory that I store in my head and in my heart. I have had several vacations that bring good memories, but one that I will never forget was my trip to Colombia, because I had a chance to meet my husband’s family, experience a different culture, and view some of the greatest, spectacular, panoramic sights in the world.

I have a beautiful husband that has a family in Colombia that I never had the chance to meet. Last year in April, my husband and I decided to plan a trip to go to Colombia so that I may meet his family and enjoy the presence of his mother, father and son. So little by little, we started to save. In October we had the amount needed to purchase the airline tickets and go. A memorable vacation is something you can’t forget! I have travelled to many places and the memories…oh! They are so good but the memories I made while vacationing in Colombia left a mark in my life. I met my best friend’s family, experienced a completely different culture and visited the most panoramic sights in the world.

This year, my friend and I decided to visit her homeland. We saved up for a few months and decided to go in the month of May. We purchases the airline tickets and since then our excitement knew no limits. My friend Sheena’s parents were thrilled to hear about it and I was looking forward to meet them. On 5th May, we landed in Colombia and were received by Sheen’s father at the airport. The next ten days were a bliss. The weather was remarkable. The visits to the various tourist spots were splendid. I remember clicking photos all the time. The cuisine was extraordinary and if you have your best friend and her family to give you company, it becomes all the more memorable. I had a great time staying in Columbia and planned to visit once every year.
