Every year 3.4 million people all over the world die from diseases associated with lack of water , sanitation and hygiene. So lets come to the point. lets take the example of river Ganga. It is a holy river for Hindus. It is also a lifeline for thousands of people depend on it for their daily needs. It contains fertile soil and water nessarry for agricultural needs.  Farmers dig canals to their feilds. For Hindus dip in ganga means scacred. They also throw dead bodys or half burnt bodys which pollutes the river. So it indirectly effects the agricultural sector. If agricultural sector is affected it indirectly effects other sectors. So it effects national devolopment. So we can say that cleanliness impacts national devolopment. We can encourage your locality and city to adopt cleanliness and promote  healthy living by creating awareness programmmes and participating in Swach Bharat Abhiyan and Clean Ganga
