It actually started from the temple Puri. After it arrived at puri it moved to west bengal near the coastal areas like digha, mandarmoni etc.

But as much effect it had at orissa it did not have at west bengal.

But still many buildings near Puri coast fell down and many of the glasses of the hotels shattered due to the cyclone.

even a huge crane fell on the top of a building and much more had been destroyed.Fortunately people were vacated from the hotels and cottages.

But this cyclone had effected so much in many parts of orissa.
