Dear Diary,
I am very shocked to hear about Rohini. I had no idea that students living in hostels would suffer so much because of the Nation-wide Lockdown. I had called her up today evening, to ask her how she has been lately. With a distressed voice, she said that the lockdown in Odisha has been extended till April 30th; and because of this, the hostels of her engineering college are going to be shut down because they are running out of essential commodities and drinking water. On hearing this, I was horrified. On asking her about what she was going to do next, she could barely sigh. She said that she has been calling up her friends and classmates all day, requesting them if they could let her stay at their house till the lockdown is lifted. I could say nothing else but to wish for her safety and security. These times becoming tougher day by day. I am wondering how long this is going to continue. Let us hope all this gets over soon.
