Answer:

It is the quality of life that matters and not the number of years that one lives. One’s life has a meaning and purpose only when it is of some use to the society. One should not live for oneself because that does not require a great deal of effort. Some people are born rich and most of their time is spent in enjoying life.

Required Answer:-

☞The proverb 'we live in deeds, not in years', means that longevity of one's life is not measured in the number of years one lives, rather it is measured by the good deeds done by one throughout his life. Human life is a gift of God and comes with an expiry date. Death is the ultimate eternal truth. The only difference is that some men live a long life and some die young. A short life can be made glorious by virtuous deeds. It is much better than a long life which is of no use to others. A noble life backed by the virtues makes an individual immortal.
