I am a die-hard fan of Sachin Tendulkar and in my teenage he was more like a semi-god figure to me. He is the ultimate youth icon who comes to my mind.
Do you know that Sachin used to practice thousands of deliveries in net practice before coming to Indian cricket team. His dedication, team spirit and king hearted nature was my constant pillar of support through my young age.
Once when I was in deep mental depression, I saw Sachin scoring an ODI double hundred on television. From that point, I copied his never say die attitude and pasted it in my heart and soul.

If anybody asks me to mention the name of my youth icon, then I will mention Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam.
