Design an activity to demonstrate that a bar magnet has a magnetic field around it

Material required:a bar magnet,a A4 sheet and some iron filings.
Take a bar magnet and keep the A4 sheet over it and sprinkle some iron filings over the sheet.Spread the filing gently over the sheet around the magnet.You will observe that the filing take the shape of a continuous curve which is known as magnetic field lines and this clearly demonstrate that the magnet has magnetic field.
