Dear Student,
◆ Hydrotropism -
- Hydrotropism is growth of a plant part towards and in response to water source.
- It is irreversible movement.
- It occurs in specific direction.
- It occurs as a result of cell division.
- When part of plant grows towards the water stimulus, it is positive hydrotropism.
- When part of plant grows away from the water stimulus, it is negative hydrotropism.
# Experiment -
