Design an experiment to demonstrate the hydrotropism?

Take a cubical transparent glass container and fill it with water. Now put some geminating seeds in it. After one or two days you will observe that the roots of all the geminating seeds will grow towards the water. This experiment proves that roots of germinating seed show the character ofpositive geotropism.

Take a pot filled with dehydrated soil . On one side immerse a cup filled with water and put holes on it . On the other side put a plant. After a few days we realise that the root grows in the direction of the cup of water.
