hi frnd, Reducing friction Lubrication Oil is used as a lubricant and provides a thin layer of liquid which separates the moving surfaces. Bearings Ball bearings reduce frictions by making the moving surface roll rather than slide. Streamlining By designing the object to allow the easy flow of fluid around it (streamlining) as is done for rockets and racing cars the drag can be reduced considerably. hope it helps

Friction can be reduced in number ways:

---> By applying Lubricants like Oil, Grease, Graphite powder etc.

---> By Polishing the surfaces which makes its surface smoother .

---> By streamlining the Shapes of the objects.

----> Ball bearings can be used in moving parts of the machinery.

---> By attaching rollers , sliding friction reduces to Rolling friction.
