Design the memory mapping between the Cache memory of 32 KB to the main memory of 1 GB using 8 way set associative method where the block or page or frame size is of 16B. Consider each memory location is byte addressable. Write the number of bits required to represent the following: Main memory address, Tag. Set number, Block number and Offset location. Let the Tags starting from the beginning of the Cache memory hold the following Set nos. from 0, 1, 2, ... and so on, respectively. For the above mapping, show completely how the Cache memory and Main memory are accessed and modified when the CPU requests for data at memory location 67. Also show the Tag. Set No. and offset fields.​
