Answer:

despite an overall Unity in the general pattern of climate in India there are perceptible regional variations in climatic conditions within the country such as desert have a very much hot climate whole year while the Arctic and Antarctic areas are very cold mountains and hilly areas are also very cold this is due to the variation of climate in them and because mountains have high altitude then they have low temperature where as desert and planes have high altitude so they have high temperatures in them.

Despite an overall unity in the general pattern of the climate of India, there are few variations in places within our country depending on their geographical locations:

  • For example, we have desert places like the  Sahara desert or deserts in Rajsthan where the climate is too hot.
  • On the other side, we have Arctic Region where the climate is too cold.
  • There are Hilly regions where the climate is cold because of mountains as the altitude of the mountain is above the sea level due to which the climate becomes cool and freezy.
