Yes democracy is not a good form of govt. cause(not those definations that everyone mug up, just general understanding that build your reputation within the teacher.)
1. The political parties actually have to prepare for the upcoming elections and have to take immediate solutions that only affect a short amount of people for a short time period in order to win back power. This is wrong, insthead if it tries to aim at long term but permanent goals that affect all citizens then it loses power in the next 4 years.
2. The role played by the opposition (especially in india) is not to point out the mistakes made by the parties, but to oppose the judgement and developmental goals made by the ruling party and criticize them to get back to power again.
3. The development is slowed down by this process due to a lot of time taken in passing bills to make laws
4 (Bonus) This type of government is far more prone to corruption because of the ones that have money and power only get the right to rule the country ( exception- Narendra Modi and APJ Abdul Kalam etc.....)
