Akbar gave a huge contribution to Literature, poetry, and Translation works in the Mughal Period.

Explanation:

Although Akbar was illiterate, he used to love books  and took interest in various types of books,

  • He was an active patron of books, supported authors, commissioned translations.
  • Even Akbar built the special library more systematically with its staff cataloging and classifying the nearly 24,000 books in it.
  • The Matakana was attached to the library, where tranlations were done in the Persian language.
  • The translation of the Mahabharata as Razmnamah in both languages Hindi and Persian began in 1582.
  • Akbar’s court also appointed poets like Ghazali Meshedi ( present-day Iraq).
  • Hence, we can say that Akbar was a knowledgeable person.
