Bismillah didn't enter the celluloid world despite getting huge success because when he started getting lessons in playing instrument he would sit practicing  through out the day on the banks of the river ganga with his uncle Ali bux and also the flowing waters of the ganga inspired him to improvise and invent ragas .

Thus he choose the celluloid world.

• The Bismillah Khan didn't enter the celluloid world, and despite getting huge success cause the world of film was artificial & glamorous.

• He did not want any recognition or awards based on such terms. The world of the films offered the awards & recognition in a much fast ways which the Bismillah Khan did not appreciate.

• Despite of the huge success in the celluloid world, Bismillah Khan’s ventures in films music were limited to the Two:

• The Vijay Bhatt’s Gunj Uthi Shehnai & Vikram Srinivas’s Canada venture, Samadhi Apana.

• He was not interested in glamour world of music & couldn’t come to  the terms with artificiality. Therefore, his venture in cinema was limited to Two.
