Despite the invention of labor-saving devices life has become more hectic because of this change in the production the demand for the goods has also increased because of the increasing population and changing lifestyle of people the demand for the products have also changed people need more advanced products with more features, which is the reason the production of such goods have become hectic because the demands of people need to be met. And for operating the machines and meeting the deadlines there is a need of a lot of people who can keep a track of the ongoing processes and if the products are being made properly or not.

During the Industrial Revolution many people thought that technology would make life easier as machines will do much of the work. This thought continue in the 20th century and it is still something people think about.
Which shows that no matter how much we advance and how much we automate, as human beings we will always come across new complexities in life.
E.g. even though humans replaced animals with tractors for farming, this initiated a whole new industry and it's own complication of oil changing, driving license, repair and maintenance. Things do improve with labour saving devices but humans have not changed since the last 1000s of years. We get happy, cry, get bored and irritated and as humans we will always suffer from such feelings.
So I am against this expression that Labour Saving devices make life more hectic. These things actually help us, but we as humans do to change and that is why we experience all the problems we do face
