Breathing is the physical process where you inhale and exhale air in and out of your lungs. Inhaling brings in air containing Oxygen, which is absorbed and exchanged for Carbon Dioxide. The Carbon Dioxide, now in the air inside your lungs, is expelled when you exhale. The Oxygen is carried in your blood to the cells around your body where respiration takes place.

Respiration is a chemical reaction where Oxygen is used to breakdown Glucose in order to generate energy which is then used by the cell to function.

Difference between Respiration and breathing is given below :

➡️➡️ Respiration

=> respiration is a life process respiration is the process of energy production by the oxidation of food stuff within the body of living beings is called respiration.

the production of energy by the oxidation of food in the absence of oxygen is called anaerobic respiration.

the production of energy by the oxidation of food in the presence of oxygen is called aerobic respiration.

respiration is a chemical process. respiration is a catabolic process in which food particles are oxidized in living cells to release energy.

➡️➡️ Breathing

=> breathing is the process of intake of Oxygen and giving out of seo2 is called breathing in other words, the mechanism by which organisms obtain oxygen from the environment and release carbon dioxide in it, is known as breathing it is an essential part of respiratory process the mechanism of breathing may be different in different organisms but the actual oxidation of food that occurs inside the cell is almost the same in all organisms.
