Swadeshi movt: Swadeshi movement: The term "Swadeshi" means the use of indigenous goods or domestic goods.The concept was used by Mahatma Gandhi to wage non-violent war against the British government. He knew that the main interest of the British in India  was trade. He asked the people to boycott the foreign goods and use the goods made in India.

The Anti-Partition Movement was initiated on 7 August 1905. On that day, a massive demonstration against the partition was organized in the Town Hall in Calcutta. The partition too effect on 16 October 1905. The leaders of the protest movement declared it to be a day of national mourning throughout Bengal.
