Ruskin Bond. Ruskin Bond (born 19 May 1934) is an Indian author of British descent. He lives with his adopted family in Landour, in Mussoorie, India. Ruskin bond is an English poet who have lived as an Indian. He has written various novels such as Vagrants in the Valley, Delhi is not far, etc. The Room on the Roof, written when he was 17, won the John Llewellyn Rhys Memorial Prize in 1957.He has written over 500 short stories and articles for a no. of magazines.He lives in Mussoorie.He is much attached to India and it's culture.
