Brain is classified as Forebrain viz., cortex (frontal lobe, parietal lobe, temporal lobe and occipital lobe), basal ganglia and limbic system (thalamus, hypothalamus, amygdala, hippocampus and cingulate cortex), Hindbrain (Medulla, Pons and Cerebellum) and midbrain.
