Hey,

The most international expansion of that acronym is the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, headquartered in Rome, Italy across from Circus Maximus.

In the United States, there's also a famous toy store headquartered in New York City and named after its founder, Frederick August OttoSchwarz.

So look at the context – if you see "FAO Schwarz," think toys; but if you see "the FAO," think food.

(Having been to both the FAO headquarters and the toy store multiple times each, I can attest that the FAO cafeteria has much healthier food than the toy store's candy section.)

HOPE IT HELPS YOU:-))

The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) is an agency of the United Nations (UN). The FAO works on international efforts to defeat hunger and improve local economies by helping member countries modernize and improve agriculture, forestry and fisheries practices.
