Explanation:

1. In soda ash tube take two three pieces of sodium metal and heat them until they get melt.Now add 6 - 8 pinches of organic compound to that and again heat it it until the bottom of tube becomes red hot. Carbon nitrogen present in the compound will get fused with sodium metal to give sodium cyanide.

4.  Add ferric chloride to the solution in step 3 prussian blue color of ferri ferrocyanide will be obtained which confirms the presence of nitrogen in the organic compound..
