The principle of the Surface tension of the liquid by using the Jaeger's method stated as the
- Excess pressure inside an air bubble is 2T/r.
- That is the excess pressure inside the air bubble is equal to the twice of the surface tension of the liquid in which the bubble forms and have the radius r of the air bubble.
- In the apparatus of this method, it consist of the Woul's bottle, a thristle funnel, a pipe, a capillary tube, a manometer, and a container full of liquid.
- The liquid in the container is used to calculate the surface tension of the liquid.
