The presence of beneficial element i.e., Ca, Co, Fe, K, Mg, Mn and Zn are within limit but the concentration of Ni is high. The concentration of heavy trace elements Cd, Cu and Pb are within limit but the concentration of as and Cr are high. Keywords: Rauwolfia Serpentina, atomic absorption spectroscopy, essential trace elements, heavy metals.
