Answer:

3rd term = 16

7th term = 24

then here 3rd term means a+2d ----- eq 1

and 7th term means a+6d ---------- eq 2

a+2d = 16

a+6d = 24

-----------------

8d = 40

d = 40/8

d = 5

then substitute d in equation 1 or in equation 2

a+2d = 16 ( d = 5 )

a+2(5) = 16

a+ 10 = 16

a = 16-10

a = 6

then here. a= 6, d=5

A.P = 12,14,16,18

Step-by-step explanation:

3rd term

16= a+2d------(I)

7th term

24= a+ 6d---(II)

On solving both equation, we get

a= 12 and d= 2

so A.P is 12,14,16,18
