Given that : Sides of a triangle are defined by the equations

y=x

3y=x

x+y=0

We need to find vertices of the triangle graphically.

For y=x,

x :     0     1

y :     0     1

Plot (0,0) and (1,1) on the coordinate plane and connect them by a straight line.

For 3y=x,

x :     0     3

y :     0     1

Plot (0,0) and (3,1) on the coordinate plane and connect them by a straight line.

For x+y=8,

x :     0     8

y :     8     0

Plot (0,8) and (8,0) on the coordinate plane and connect them by a straight line.

From the graph it is clear that the vertices of triangle are (0,0), (4,4) and (6,2).
