Given ;

  • eq1 : 3x + y - 12 = 0
  • eq2 : x - 3y + 6 = 0

Thus by comparing bote the eqⁿ by standard linear eq in 2 variables ( ax + by + c = 0 )

  • a1 = 3
  • b1 = 1
  • c1 = -12
  • a2 = 1
  • b2 = -3
  • c2 = 6

Thus a1/a2 ;

  • 3/1

Thus b1/b2 ;

  • -1/3

Thus c1/c2 ;

  • -2/1

Since ; a1/a2 ≠ b1/b2

Thus the given system of equation has a unique solution.
