f (x) = 5 x - 6 is a one to one function as for every x there is a unique defined value of f(x).
x = [ f(x) + 6 ] / 5 so for every value of f(x) , there is a unique value of x.
formula for inverse function is :
F^-1 (y) = [ y + 6 ] / 5 replace f(x) by y and x by f^-1(y) or,
it is same as f^-1(x) = (x+6)/5
