Answer:

We are given the following ratios;

48 kg : 6 kg and 25 g : 200 g

Firstly, making both the ratios in same units;

1 kg = 1000 g

48 kg = 48 \times× 1000 = 48000 g

Similarly, 6 kg = 6 \times× 1000 = 6000 g

Now, the accurate ratios are;

48000 g : 6000 g and 25 g : 200 g

To conclude that the ratios are in proportion, the condition is that;

Product of means = Product of extremes

6000 \times 25 \neq 48000 \times 2006000×25

=48000×200

150000 \neq

= 9600000
