Answer:

Let f(x)= x^3-3x^2-4x-4

g(x)=x-2

By the factor thereom ,

f(2)=2^3-3(2)^2-4(2)-4

=8-12-8-4

= -16

since f(2)not equal to 0

therefore g(x)=x-2 is not a factor of p(x)
