therefore:
by pythgoras theorem,
2^2 = 1^2 + x^2
4 = 1 + x^2
x^2 = 3
x = square root 3
Altitude of an equilateral triangle is = square root 3
therefore:
by pythgoras theorem,
2^2 = 1^2 + x^2
4 = 1 + x^2
x^2 = 3
x = square root 3
Altitude of an equilateral triangle is = square root 3
