Step-by-step explanation:

(i) x° + x + 10° = 130° (ext. angle property)

2x + 10° = 130°

2x = 130° - 10

2x = 120°

x = 120/2

x =  60°

1st angle = x° = 60°

2nd angle = x° + 10 = 70°

(ii) x° + 80° = 3x° (ext. angle property)

80° = 3x-x

80° = 2x

80/2 = x

40° = x

1st angle = x = 40°

2nd angle = 3x = 120°

(iii)2x + 36° =  5x (ext. angle property)

36° = 5x - 2x

36° = 3x

36/3 = x

12 = x

first angle = 2x =  24°

second angle = 5x = 60°
