Heya...
Here is your answer ---

Length of rectangle = 16 cm
Perimeter = 48 cm

=> Perimeter of rectangle = 2 × ( l + b )

=> 48 = 2 × ( 16 + b )

=> 48 = 32 + 2b

=> 2b = 32 - 16

=> 2b = 16

=> b = 16 ÷ 2

=> b = 8

Breadth = 8 cm

=> Area of Rectangle = l × b
=> 16 × 8
=> 128 sq.cm

HEYA!!!
HERE'S YOUR ANSWER!!!
_______________________
Given:- Lenght = 16 cm
Perimeter = 48 cm

To Find:- Breadth and Area.

We know that,
Perimeter of rect. = 2 × ( l + b )

Putting the values

=> 48 = 2 ( 16 + b )
=> 48 = 32 + 2 × b
=> 2 × b = 48 - 32
=> 2 × b = 16
=> b = 16/2
=> b = 8 cm *

Therefore, breadth = 8 cm.

Now, area of rect. = l × b

=> 16 × 8
=> 128 cm sq. *
Therefore the area of the given rect. = 128 cm sq.
