Hey mate here's your answer,

First, convert mm(milimetre) into m(metre).

i.e.,

7mm = \frac{7}{10} cm \: as \: 1cm = 10mm \\  = 0.7cm \\  =  \frac{0.7}{100} as \: 1m = 100cm \\  = 0.007m

Thus, Area of square with side 7mm = (side)² or (side × side)

=> area = 0.007 × 0.007

=0.000049 m²

Hope this helps you

In context to questions asked,

We have to determine the area of square having side 7 mm

As here,

we need to determine the area in sq. m.

So, for first we will convert 7 mm into meter.

As we know that,

1 m = 1000 mm

So, 7 mm will be 0.007 m

As we know that,

Area of square is,

 {side}^{2}

So, for determining the value of area of square we will put the value of side of square in above formula.

Thus we will get,

 {0.007}^{2}  \\  = { \frac{7}{1000}}^{2}  \\  =  \frac{49}{ {10}^{6} }  \\  = 0.000049 \:  {m}^{2}
