Determine the area of a triangle whese sides are 5 cm, 13 cm and 12 cm.

Solution:-

The sides of triangles are

a = 5cm , b = 12cm , c = 13cm

s=\frac{a+b+c}{2}=\frac{5+12+13}{2}=15cm

 =  \sqrt{s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)}

= √[15 × 10 × 3 × 2] = \sqrt{900}=30cm²
