Determine the arithmetic progression whose 3^rd term is 5 and 7^th term is 9.

hey..

given :-

a + 2d = 5......... (1)
a + 6d = 9...........(2)

(1) - (2)

-4d = -4
d = 4/4
d = 1

sub d in (1)

a + 2(1) = 5
a + 2 = 5
a = 5 - 2
a = 3

The series of A.P is 3,4,5,6....
