\large\orange{ANSWER}

¤ Given:-

  • A5 = 18
  • A2 = 9

¤ To find:-

  • Common difference (d)

☆ Now,

---> A5 = 18 [Given]

---> A+4d = 18 -----eq(1)

☆ Also,

---> A2 = 9

---> A+d = 9 -----eq(2)

☆ By Subtracting eq(2) from eq(1) we get,

---> (A+4d)-(A+d) = 18-9.

---> A+4d-A-d = 9.

---> 3d = 9.

---> d = 9/3.

---> d = 3.

Therefrore Common Difference = 3.
